In 2002, Amperor, Inc. celebrated its 20th anniversary. Since its beginnings, Amperor has enjoyed dramatic growth and development. Amperor/Intertek
In 1982, Intertek Corporation was founded in Taipei, Taiwan. Intertek was originally established to specialize in the design and manufacture of Automatic Test Systems. After a successful startup period, Intertek entered the desktop and portable power supply business and began marketing its products under the name of Amperor, Incorporated in 1987. The primary product offerings at the time were AC to DC power supplies, DC to AC power supplies and DC/DC converters.

Amperor employs over 2700 associates worldwide. In addition, Amperor has developed a network of manufacturer’s representatives to assist in local support of our customers throughout the world, including Norcomp in the SF Bay area. Currently, Amperor has sales offices located in the PRC, ROC, USA, UK and Singapore. Amperor’s US headquarters is in Houston, Texas. Amperor’s manufacturing facility is in Shenzhen, PRC and its corporate offices are located in Taipei, Taiwan.

Amperor Incorporated (USA): Amperor Inc. is located in Houston, Texas. Amperor provides both sales and technical support to our domestic customers. This support includes design support as well as local hub warehousing capabilities to support JIT requirements.

Amperor Europe Ltd.: Amperor Europe was established in 1996 to expand sales and provide local support to our existing customers. In the first 18 months of operation, Amperor Europe enjoyed a 400 % increase in sales revenues.
